Recipe: our Almond Cookie Dough
Here is the recipe that we use a lot for our cookies - almond cookie dough. But with Foodini, you can use any cookie dough you like!
Ingredients
Full batch ingredients (this recipe also works well using half the ingredient amounts to create a half-batch):
- 50g butter, softened to room temperature (not melted)
- 200g almond cream
- 4g liquid vanilla
- 140g flour
Preparation
Mix the butter, almond cream and vanilla to a smooth blend. Sift the flour into the mixture in 2 or 3 batches. Sifting is important so that you have no flour lumps.
Add food coloring if you like. We prefer to use concentrated food coloring as it only requires a very small amount to create vivid colors. When baking with food coloring, you may want to bake at a lower temperature/ longer time in order to avoid browning and discoloration.
Bake at 150°C / 300°F. Timings depend on the thickness of your cookie. Thinner cookies can bake as fast as 5 minutes whereas thicker cookies may take 12 minutes or more.
