Recipe: Honey Cookie Dough

  1. 50g butter, softened to room temperature
  2. 150g honey
  3. 4g liquid vanilla
  4. 140g flour
Mix the butter, honey and vanilla to a smooth blend. Sift the flour into the mixture in 2 or 3 batches. Sifting is important so that you have no flour lumps.

Add food coloring if you like. We prefer to use concentrated food coloring as it only requires a very small amount to create vivid colors. When baking with food coloring, you may want to bake at a lower temperature/ longer time in order to avoid browning and discoloration. 

Bake at 150°C / 300°F. Timings depend on the thickness of your cookie. Thinner cookies can bake as fast as 5 minutes whereas thicker cookies may take 12 minutes or more.
