Working with Dishes

When you create a new dish, this is the screen you'll see:

Tapping print on a dish will bring you to print preview - Foodini will not automatically start printing.

Grid

= grid toggle: add a grid to help align your shapes. Each square is approximately 1 cm / 0.4 inches.

The heavier dark grey lines mark the center of the Foodini dish:

Shape Coordinates and Dimensions

Sometimes you'll want precision when lining up shapes, Foodini can provide coordinates to assist.

Select a shape, and you'll see the shape coordinates and dimensions (approximate) in the following format:
(#, #) #x#
The number measurements are in millimeters/mm.

For example, the coordinates and dimensions of the rectangle are shown as (110, 55) 50x40:

Another example, the coordinates and dimensions of the heart are shown as (98, 43) 64x61:

If you move the shape or adjust the size, you need to deselect and reselect the shape to see updated coordinates and dimensions.

Line Drawing

= To toggle the line drawing feature on and off. Toggle it on to start drawing, then toggle it off when you are done.
