Foodini is designed to be a kitchen appliance that remains in the kitchen, but we do understand that some people want to travel with Foodini... We've been travelling with Foodini for years! However, if you are going to transport Foodini, it is very important that you package it correctly to protect it from damage.
Using the Original Packaging
You can use the original internal packaging that came with Foodini:
Using a Travel Case for Transport
The only hard case we use is a Pelican case, also known as a Peli case. We use model 0350 - Protector Cube Case with foam, along with the Mobility Package (wheels and pull-strap). When using this peli case, the foam protects Foodini.
Don't forget to use the internal packaging that must go inside Foodini!
See the previous video.
Note that the Foodini accessories do not fit in the Peli case, we hand-carry those on our flight or pack them separately. We do this to come within airline weight limits to check Foodini into a flight as special luggage. It's within weight limits with the wheels removed; we use the wheels to get Foodini to the check-in counter, then we remove the wheels and hand carry them on our flight.
